Liz Seal Holistic Massage

A range of techniques are available, working holistically, I may include different elements and techniques to help resolve any issues you may have, including;

Swedish massage – to soothe and relieve muscular tension, increase circulation and improve skin and muscle tone.

Hot and cold stone massage – a luxurious treatment to relax and soothe tired muscles, a deeper and more stimulating massage. The use of both hot and cold stones increases lymphatic drainage and can reduce inflammation.

Hands Free massage – A technique where the therapist uses the forearms to extend the contact and deepen the pressure.

Cupping – A deep muscle technique, to stimulate cellular metabolism, increase blood flow and release joint stiffness. Can have an impact on pain control and the operation of internal organs.

Aromatherapy massage – a gentle massage using essential oils, tailored to the individual to relieve tension and achieve balance and harmony in mind, body and spirit.

Indian head massage – a seated treatment, concentrating on the upper back and shoulders, the arms, scalp, face and neck; This treatment increases blood flow around the brain, aids relaxation and improves the health of the scalp and hair.

Luxury aromatherapy facial – incorporates essential oils to suit your skin type and specific massage techniques for the neck, face and scalp. Detoxifies and oxygenates the skin giving a feeling of complete relaxation.

Aromareflex (Or Swiss Reflex)– uses reflex points on the feet to assess any points of congestion or blockage throughout the body, then an individual blend of essential oils is used to massage the feet, bringing relaxation and promoting healing. This treatment can bring about feelings of calm and well-being.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage– A gentle treatment working with the Lymphatic System to stimulate drainage, reducing fluid retention, lymphoedema, managing pain, improving digestion and many other symptoms. A course of 3x30minute appointments over a 2 week period would be recommended for optimum benefit. This course of treatment is £95.

Pregnancy massage– Gentle and soothing massage to relax mum and baby, especially effective in the later months of pregnancy. I would recommend a course of shorter treatments, this can include instruction for your birthing partner to aid during labour.

Bespoke skin care products blended for you to help alleviate a range of skin conditions including psoriasis, eczema, and many others. Gels, lotions and creams can be blended for you to use at home, and the cost calculated taking into account the oils required. The cost is generally between £5 and £10 for 30-50ml of product, and would require a 30 minute initial appointment. I can also supply a bespoke blend of oils to be used on a diffuser to alleviate a wide variety of heath and emotional  concerns.

A full consultation taking into account your physical and mental health, lifestyle and medical history will be carried out before your first treatment to allow me to offer the best treatment for you and a unique blend of essential oils can then be made up. The initial consultation can take up to 30 minutes. This time is not included in your treatment time, I do not include an extra charge as I believe this to be an important aspect to your treatment and the time required will vary according to the complexity of your concerns. At each following appointment, a shorter consultation to establish any changes to your requirements will be included in your treatment time.

The treatment offered can either be a full body massage or focused on the area of concern; ie back and shoulders, shoulders, neck and arms, or legs and feet.
